:( Just unboxed my new iPad 2 - stuck pixels, but Apple is awesome and replaced it.

Did you test for backlight bleeding? I absolutely hate shopping at the Apple Store. I like to browse there but forget about buying in the store. I bought our iPad1 at the Apple retail store. Never will I buy from Apple B&M store again. Absolutely the worst buying experience at a B&M store. They have the most retarded sales setup ever.

Doesn't seem to be any at all, but I'll take a better look tonight. It's too bright everywhere in my house.

The 5th Avenue store was kind of bothersome to buy from, but our West Side store was pretty good.

Kinda bummed no jailbreaking yet (or even ever) but I am super happy right now.

They recently redid the whole process, you trigger a sales associate visit from the iPads installed next to all of the products on display and process the sale wirelessly.

They also increased the space for after sale set up in the store.

But yeah, I tend to look at the product in the store and then buy online, it's just less of a hassle.

Thank you Apple PR man. Others beg to differ. I haven't tested our iPad 2 yet but I'm not that anal about dead/stuck pixel or light bleeding. Any LCD can have backlight bleeding. Only display immune to backlight bleeding is Samsung AMOLED.

I wouldn't care about bleeding either, but stuck pixels kill me.

There are no restocking fees. If you bought it at an Apple store, you were fairly unwise to not open it up and do the setup and check the screen.

WTF? Who the hell opens and checks all products they buy before they leave the store? Do you?

They always ask you and you should do it if you're 50 miles away, unless dead pixels is a foreign concept for you.

There are a million Apple stores here in Boston so it doesn't affect me.
So much bs in so few bytes.

Yes, if it's a matter of dead pixels. If you don't know what dead pixels, I suppose I can not blame you.
