Both are very nice. I'm too lazy to adjust tho. So I think I'm going with myie2. Give it a spin too. Mozilla seems more unnatural out of the two though.

Unnatural? You click on links to go to new pages. It's fundamentally identical to all other web browsers.

Why are you looking at browsers other than IE? Whatever your reason, you'll have the same problems with Myie2 -- it's just a different front end for the same engine -- and the same problems (hijacks, viruses, security exploits, ...)

Switching to MyIE2 would take about as much effort as switching to Mozilla or Opera.

I use Firefox for just about everything now. It's got bugs, but they seem like they can be fixed in the future, as they are relatively minor.
It is not as vulnerable as IE - spyware has a tougher time of getting in, at least for now. Once Firefox gains popularity, I'm sure spyware makers will adapt and make our lives hell too, leaving us either looking for another browser, or for something like a powerful taser, combined with the home addresses of the spyware writers.

I do like the Adblock, which I use to block the more annoying ads I encounter. I will actually allow the less irritating ones - but if it moves around, or flashes, or takes up most of the screen, it's gone. Once you block the servers that put out really bad ads, surfing becomes a lot quieter.

Yes, but only if you use them for simple browsing. I use my browser to manage my financial stuff... like paying bills and updating an online calendar so being able to jump around quickly from site to site and having windows where I expect them is important. I have it all under control with Yahoo Companion (online bookmarks, calendar, right-clicking companion links opens them in new windows instead of the retarded tabbing which takes time to find stuff).

Since FF and Opera aren't supported by Companion, I have stayed with IE. I may switch over to FF when Companion works 100% with it.

THere is nothing wrong w/ ie. I just wanted less clutter and more features such as tabbed browsing. And no googletoolbar = dealbreaker.

i use firefox for everything except financial stuff. i haven't even installed flash onto firefox and the adblock is great.

if a site has flash, i have the "view in IE" plug-in and it's great.

What does the google toolbar all do in IE? Firefox has the little box that you can type into and it automatically googles. You can set it up to go to anything like a dictionary or another search engine...

I really liked Mozilla when I first tried it, but the favorites menu was just too annoying with its sensitivity if you went off the menu.

It would take me a few times if I went my normal movement and speed to get my selection without the menu collapsing on me.

I then tried Opera. It was not as sensitive. What I really like is how IE keeps the menu open while you select.

What I don't like about IE is the inability to enlarge the font on ANY webpage. You can do this with Opera.

Using 1280 resolution makes it hard to see some webpages in IE since the designer may have forced the font to stay a certain size.

It really is a toss up.

If IE had that feature I would love it....or if Opera had the obedient menu I would use it 100%...Then there is the problem of some things just not working in non-IE browsers.

I have come across websites where I just could not view things without IE.
