The guys in our tech department here don't know that I know a single thing about computers. So I see two of them talking, and walk up and say: "I think my computer had some weird spyware on it, I was looking through the c-drive and saw some 386i or i386 files that I had never heard of, so I deleted it off my computer. I think it'll run faster now, I just reset the computer and I'm waiting for it to reboot". The looks on their faces was priceless. I told em to relax I was just jerkin em around, then walked away

seeing that a: it's a folder and not a file, and b: with XP, it's not actually even necessary for Windows to run, I have to wonder if you actually do know a thing about computers, lol.

Who needs it?

That folder is there to simplify driver installation...instead of having to insert the OS cd, Windows can be pointed to that directory.

Is that to say you only know a single thing about computers? What thing is that?

Wait until the HR folks walk up to you and tell you they've lost you in the payroll system and you won't be getting two weeks of your pay... then they tell you to relax, they're just jerking you around. ;)
