I'm thinking about taking out the weight of my MX310, and I was just going to make sure that if I remove the sticker on the bottom in order to take out the screws, that I am voiding the warranty. Am I correct?

Also, to any of you that have the MX310, does taking out the weight make much lighter?

Yep, your warranty is gone if you remove the label. The weight does make a difference, but not that much.
