I want to start off and say I am sorry for the last months and my posts/replies. I was really having a bad time with my migraines and my doctor taking shots in the dark having me try this that and the other pills really messing me up.

The new pills I am on for depression, and pain are really paying off. I have pressure now where the pain was and every now and then I wake up with my spikes but the dull massive pain that went on for days on end has passed since trying the new pills, with the new doctor. They dont really drug me out like the other ones did and Im feeling sooooooo much better.

I just wanted to take this time to say hello to you all again for I missed alot of you and to say I am sorry for some of the stuff I may of said that was whacked or had upset you. I didnt mean it and I was out of control. Im back and feeling much better. Still got the shakes which I have the EEG on the 27th to see about but boy I feel 300x better then I have for a very long time. And been sleeping too which helps. I havent slept though a night is months.

Anyway I feel Im back and a huge herro to all :D

AND NO this is not the usual drugged up hes messing around Jason. I havent felt so good or level headed in a very long time and I truly am sorry for the way I have been acting. This is me and as close to me as I have been for a long time. So sorry and thanks for having me back. Hopefully with not to many hard feeling against me, I hope, I hope, I hope :D.

Who said experimenting with drugs is a "bad" thing, anyway? :D

Funboy, I saw a new treatment a doctor was doing on people who suffer migraines last night where he uses Botox in certain places on the forehead and the patient stated that she hasn't had severe migraines in a while just the occasional headache.

I can't remember which show it was on I think it was Strictly Dr. Grew on the Discovery channel maybe that will be helpful for you.

Well I was sick of being thier monkey waiting to find out which one was going to work. I was soooooo messed up between being super high, out of it, in a sh!t load of pain, and loopy from lack of sleep.

Unfortunatly my migraines are not the normal migraines people have for none of the usual drugs for migraines including shots work on me. I am on a sedative, a tranquilizer, and 2 heavy duty pain meds ATM, I was taken off 2 pills and had 2 more added, they work tottaly different then the other stuff. Every once in a while I see stuff thats not there thanks to the Elavil but I will take seeing crap over the pain ANY day ;). Im leveling out on all this stuff and becoming "normal" if you want to call it that. Main thing for me is the pain is gone. And yup happy to be back, thinking kinda straight forward. My father took what I was taking before and the amounts to his pharmacist and he told my father I should be dead with all I was taking and in the amounts over what I was prescribed.

But Im happy to be back and look forward to nothing but good old fun or helpful comments made by me again :D:D:D:D:D
Weeee hooooo! Kiss my ass turkey!

Glad you're feeling better. Careful with all those meds, can't be good to mix and match all that stuff!

Not sure what you want to call it. Stays one side of my head. The upper, back left side. Started out 1-2 a year, then 6 months, then a month, then a week, then every day all day long for days on end with maybe a hour or 2 of not having one then back to days on end. Nothing over the counter, prescribed, or shot into my ass till now made it go away. I havent had a 8 hour sleep in over 6 months, so far I have had 4 days of 8 hour sleep per day. For the last 6 months I may of been working on 1-2 hours a night and it wasnt quality sleep in the least for I was in a ton of pain. Would OD on my meds just to get that sleep.

Now the pain is not there but there is pressure I feel in that area and I get a migraine spike every now and then but the massive constant non stop pain is gone, and oh I hope it stays like this :D

I used to get them. Worst pain ever. The prednizone they gave me ruined my right hip and I had to get a hip replacement at 39.
Luckily for me, the headache stopped 10 years ago on their own.

I'm glad you are feeling better. I also struggle with migraines (about 1 a week for usually just 1 day, but this week it was three days).

What meds are you taking for the pain?

I have been using prescribed Tylenol 3's but they seem to be losing their effectiveness. I also take Amerge (naratriptan)

No mine is not a cluster. One side always same place and never moves around. Mine also lasts for weeks or months non stop without end for no more then a hour or two of relief then right back at it again. Never went on the Prednizone to the best I can remember. They had me trying so many of all these months it wasnt funny.

Them 3's is nothing ;) prior to what I am on now I was pooping 4 Hydrocodones 5/500's every 4 hours to stay high to keep my mind off my pain. Then I would od on them, Depakote, Migrazone, lavetra  (JK) lunesta, and 2 over the counter sleep pills JUST to fall asleep for a few hours. I was still in a crap load of pain on all of that.

Now though Im off Depakote and Hydrocodones and Im on wonderful :D:
Migrazone still
Maxalt for when its really bad. 9 of these are $160. They dissolve on the tongue and taste nasty as hell
then Im on Elavil once a day
Zonisamide once a day
and Diclofenac 2x a day

and this is the first time that I can remember in has to be over 8 months I have been migraine free for 4 days straight. I go for my EEG on the 27th which I just got back from getting my hair cut so they can apply the electrodes to my head. I havent had a hair cut in a very long time and looked like a drugged out hippy and got my $10 worth ;) The lady that cut my hair told me that with the EEG they may be looking for a turmor in my head and I did some more reading and that test can tell if there is one or not. I guess it would explain why I have to be drugged so bad to get the pain to go away and for it to be isolated in one spot in my head all the time too, and the shakes, speech problems, and my acne on my ass. But I shale see :D
