just switching to firefox and....

I meant windowblinds. If so, that's a known issue. So uninstall the blinds and stay with Firefox.

Never had any issues using IE. Tried FF once and it sucked ass big time.

Firebird used to do that to me, after FF dropped (.6 I believe) it stopped doing that.

Sometimes your mouse wheel will get stuck between "clicks" and it'll jump up and down. Try scrolling. It's happened to me once or twice.

Do what I did. Try firefox, push all the buttons, try all the add-ons, then shytcan the whole mess. You'll be happier for it.
