Just switched to a new host, how to evaluate new host speed?

Is there any links out there that would help test the speed of my host? I've dl'd a few files and been getting around 600KBs, but might want to try a few more bigger files but I was wondering if there was a more systematic way to do it.

Download Speed: 1266 kbps (158.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 628 kbps (78.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
