Anyone else here use NOD32?
I looked into all the options becuase NAV was conflicting with way too many programs and getting corrupted for some reason.
It was ridiculous so I tried NOD32. It appeared the best all around AV program after reading that schandenfroh antivirus thread and reading that av-comparison.com websites results..
it appears in the most recent test NOD32 picked up 70% of the viruses and the 'almighty' Kaspersky only got 40%.
That combined with NOD32, from user accounts.. using the least resources and slowing down level loads or game loads the least.
Although it was not the absolute lowest in RAM usage, it was still very low (15MB or so) and from the general concensus it appears to be the least intrusive on scanning on app loads.
I've noticed a huge difference in loading Word files compared to NAV05.. and actually opening -anything- is faster.
If theres a better scanner than this beauty.. i'd like to know so i can try it.
I'm mainly concerned with a non-intrusive scanner that doesnt slow down applications.. RAM usage doesnt bother me as long as it doenst bloat out over time
