Just started using the Royale theme, now my taskbar buttons aren't grouped.

I just installed the royale theme, I think its intended for media center 2005, but from everything I have read it works fine with XP. It looks great and seems to work just fine, with the exception of the grouping taskbar items. I have checked that option, it is checked. I have unchecked and rechecked it and applied it, still no go. Is this a bug in the theme, or am I doing something wrong.

You might try installing Tweak UI and use it to adjust your grouping options under the taskbar and startup tab/grouping and see if that sets things right again.

I've used the Royale theme on several computers running XP Home and XP Pro and haven't experienced said problem.

Oddly enough it all of a sudden started working again. I had tried restarting, closing and reopening the programs and nothing worked, then all of a sudden I look down and its working, not sure how I fixed it, but I did.

Actually I just figured it out, I closed a couple of the programs and once it got down to 6 it ungrouped them, it seems to only group them if there is more then 6. I am trying to see if tweakUI helps now.

The default is six (too few imo) ...I always go to Tweak UI and make it twelve or fourteen, upon a fresh install.

I don't think I have ever had that many of the same application open before. Well maybe with IE, but not now that I got firefox.
