Damn this game is fun! Action packed, RPG elements, fun gameplay...i'm wondering why I didn't got into the first one on PC...

Worthy purchase!

See you got your Wii U.

I've played the first Darksiders. While a pretty decent game, it can be a bit of a slog at times. Still haven't played the sequel. If you like it, you need to give Bayonetta 1 & 2 a try.

Thanks for the recommendation, i'll check these games!

But since I got the Wii U (which came with SM3DW and Nintendo Land) I bought: WWHD, Darksiders 2, Breath of Fire 2, Golden Sun and MArio Kart 8...

got em both on PC haven't played them yet, first one looks super linear whereas the 2nd one has a lot more rpg elements in it, people liken them to Zelda games

I heard that a lot when it first came out but it really isn't like Zelda. There's a few minor similarities but they're two completely different games. Darksiders is very linear and combat based, closer to a God of War clone. I think that's why I found it a slog, because I'm not a huge GoW fan. Some of the puzzles and boss battles are Zelda-esque though.

Think God of War combat and combos + Tomb Raider puzzles and parcourt + Rpg elements like levels, skill points and loot + mix in some exploration and hidden stuff.

The story is quite ok for this kind of game. Death wants to redeem his brother War for past deeds. So Death go see the Crowfather and the story unveil from there.

A hidden gem for me in 2014 even though it is out for some time now.
