just spent 6 hours in the hospital

Gah . At least your not that guy who was on Max X TV attempting to do a 150 feet jump onto a ramp with a bike. He missed the ramp by 5 yards, ducked so the ramp itself did not take his head off however he was a tangled mess when he landed. Every bone in his lower body was broken or crushed. Crushed so badly they where not able to save his right leg, so they cut it off. He is now stuck on a wheel chair for the rest of his life with a speech problem because of the head trauma.

So always remind yourself, it could be worse...

My uncle was having a heart attack in the ER. They let him sit there cause they "didn't have the time". He died. Nah, I don't think your logic works.

wow, that's terrible. did anything happen after that? (what was hospital response, did they pay for funeral?)

The hospital never officially responded... they told the family that they were sorry, but they were overwhelmed with more important cases. I still say they should have sued, but they didn't. And no, the hospital didn't pay for anything.
