are you sure that they are USB>PS2 and not PS2>USB? ive never seen a USB>PS2 adaptor but i know its out there, i think they are just uncommon and that one would have like 8 of them just sitting around.

No I don't think he is. Adapter naming was always confusing. Do you put the insertion end name first, or the receiving end name first? I never know, and everybody does it differently. What I'm sure he meant was an adapter that converts a PS/2 plug to a USB plug is rare, while an adapter that converts a USB plug to a PS/2 plug is very abundant (I've accumulated 7 of them). The latter wouldn't do you any good on a system that had no PS/2 ports.
