Just spanked someone in one of those Honda convertibles.

The guy had asked me once a few weeks ago if I wanted to race while at a gas station, I've never been into doing anyhthing that risky so I said no. However, tonight on my way home I was driving and he zooms past me, I knew it was the same person because of a sticker on the side of the car. I came up close beside him, smiled, and just nailed the pedal to the metal and flew by him.

Stupid kids these days!

Honda convertable? An S2000?

Or a Honda coupe? Like a Honda Civic?

You know, he did say convertible in his title, so why even bother asking again?

Gunning it up a street for about 10-15 seconds while noone is around isn't quite racing.

Of course, but I have a Mercedes emblem on the front and R-type stickers on the side, so that's at least another 50 HP over stock.

So then how did you spank him if it wasn't a race?

Just making sure. If it is a S2000, that is a pretty nice ride.

Could've been a del sol.

I wasn't saying it had to be a S2000, my comment was directed at his question "Or a Honda coupe? Like a Honda Civic?"

Failure of the other driver to donwshift from 6th to 2nd and get his rpm's to 9000 rpm will cause any car to whip a S2000.

S2000 is a drivers car which requires to rev the piss out of that 4cyl engine to get any power out of it. Your 5.5L of Displacement and Automatic tranny allows you to get an edge over damn anyone that isn't ready to race. If you don't drop the clutch at 5000rpm the S2000's 0-60 times drops into the 7.0 second range :Q

You beat a honda in a SLK55 AMG, did you expect anything different?
If you didn't destroy this kid in a "race" I would wonder if you were actually awake at the wheel.

I eat ricers all day in my POS '81 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup. It's amusing.

She really smokes with the recent tuneup and fresh drivetrain.

Edit: It was probably a Del-Sol.

Next time you talk to him, he'll probably say something about how VTEC wasn't kicking when you blew past him.

It was amusing last summer when I had that rental Charger...guys would pull up in their riced Accents and Neons, and rev. I would tap the gas, and give them a taste of that sweet engine note. Then, drop the petal to the metal, and watch them dissapear in my rear-view mirror.

The city next to mine (Hamilton, ON) recently started getting Chargers as Cop cars. With the Hemi, those cars are F-A-S-T FAST.
