I can log in in the morning when i get to work, and sure i hafta re login if i close the browser
but if i go to pm some one by clicking their pm button, i have to login again, and it pulls me into the front page instead of the write pm window, so i close that little window, click their button again and it comes up as normal.
update is below this

could it be possible to have an archive area where one could go to view the archive's I know you hide catid 34 with archived msgs, i think just finished dling cold fusion server, maybe i can trick fuse talk into working without smtp set up, and make a forum on my pc, heh, whats a small database proggy for linux, can fuse talk run on freesco?

I'm sure others may be more helpful regarding the loggin in and PMing items you mentioned. I've noticed that I can stay almost indefinitely logged in but if I visit other FuseTalk forums sometimes that makes me have to log in again.

The smilies and other images definitely do count as more than a 2 characters, they get translated into quite a long string.

You can search in the archived messages, though sometimes I have to click the "archived messaged" box several times before it will listen to me. Searching seems a little quirky to me, but I can't find the pattern well enough to be helpful in debugging.

any ways, i've seen some fuse forums which have large banners attached instead of sigs. im glad we don't do that here,

ive noticed this too, but only recently when opening a seperate window, i figured the login info was in the cookies, which should go across all open browsers, so i dont know what the deal is.

ArkAoss, those large banners vs. sigs are because they are allowing html in their posts and signatures, the banners aren't mandatory.

yo mama, thats why i said im glad we dont have the sigs, they take up alot of space, i've seen them with huge banners, and threads are retardedly long
