Fear not, it's not anything major, just stopped reading discs 2 days after I got it. :colbert:

It was acquired used, so it had about a month and a half of light use on it already, as well as a trip to be via UPS who did god-knows-what with it. It was well packed though...

Anyway... I'll be twiddling my thumbs for the next week or so since I'm without both XBox or gaming computer. Maybe I'll go outside or something...

Don't bother. The graphics are shit and the end of level boss is really hard.
 
Just have Amazon overnight you a PS3 160 GB, along with some Ratchet & Clank, God of War, Uncharted, Valkryia Chronicles, etc.

Once you have both consoles you'll never miss out on a good game.
 
Received the email with the tracking information for my console's return trip five days ago. Today is day #1 that UPS has been able to actually pull up tracking info on it... and I'm a bit surprised...

No wonder 360 quality is terrible, look at what the factory workers do most of the time!

I have one that was sent to Mex aswell. That's where they're outsourcing their repair services to, I guess.

If MS were smart though, they would just send us jasper chips boxes so that they don't have to continue to deal with repair fees. I wouldn't doubt that the only thing the repair people do is the same rrod fixes that are available from online instructions.

Figures, UPS delivers the day after I leave town for 5 days. Thankfully a friend took care of the poor thing for me while I was gone.

Anyhow, unless I'm mistaken, it appears that they sent me a whole new unit, as the manufacture date is listed 9-6-10. Took long enough, but I'll be back to riding dirty in no time (RDR).
