Feature Request:



Roxio EMC 6 and 7 have a data spanning feature which is very useful although not complete. It would be nice if a Nero would add a feature like this since Nero is known to be more reliable.



I?m constantly backing up application, documents and video files. It would be nice if I could burn these on a large span of cd-r?s or dvd-r?s and have a central index which told me which cd?s the files I?m looking for were spanned across.



In my ideal I could burn 500 CD-R?s and have them all automatically index, filenames would be sufficient.



The CD-R?s could be listed as such:



001

002

003

004

005

006

007

Etc.



Example: I would search for the file and be told that it exist on cd-r 004 and 005.



Maybe throw in some extra error correction for good measure.

I've been wanting this for a while. But since I don't ever buy Nero (and just use the version that comes with my drives), I doubt I matter much to them.
