I haven't had a car payment in about 4 years. Feels awfully nice, though I do need to buy a new car soon. Fortunately it will be a cash transaction so I still won't have any car payments.

Usually pay cash for my cars as I can usually get all the financing as up front cash. Of course this means you need to get up some savings inbetween purchases.
