I used to frequent these forums regularly but got sidetracked and my ISP died and so I changed email but I forgot my password. Suddenly today for no reason I remembered my old password so I'm here. I'll have to look around to see what's changed. Is my BX chipset obsolete yet? Cheers.

I'm still running a ABIT BH6 w/ C2-566@850 :) And an Intel SE440BX w/ P3-500, so you're not the only one left using a BX chipset :) Damn you're an oldtimer (I've been around since April 2000 with my previous account)

I'm a bit disoriented. I don't recognize many names. Where are Russ and Compuwiz? Is Red Dawn still here? What about that crazy GUTB? He, he, what a character. Did Anand finish school? I seem to remember he was just starting college. Oh well, I'll catch up. Nice to be here again.

Russ is gone, GUTB was banned? I dont know. Red Dawn is still around, I think compuwiz is too. Check out the "who do you miss most" thread.

3ghz? 1 ghz ought to be enough for anyone. ;)

I'm running a PIII 700MHz Coppermine.

Cheers.

All depends on your usage. I've stopped programming and gaming on my PCs so the 850 and 500 are more than plenty for me :)

oh man, i forgot all about compuwiz. he was like the uber-coppermine dealer once upon a time.

we've still got a PII400/BX doing daily duty for office/email stuff here in our house. :) both my BX boards have kicked the bucket thanks to bad caps.
