Just saw this on Newegg...

I mentioned in another thread you have on monitors i just got a 4k 48" curved Samsung TV and am using it. I was using a 28" U 590 Samsung monitor (4k also). I went from a 24" 1920X1200 to the 28" 4K and I was very happy with my change. SO i dont think you can go wrong, depending on what you are upgrading from. I was a bit unhappy as the 28" is still abit small for that res with text and such (Im old and half blind so take that with a gain of salt). I game more then I work (at home) so i was happy with it. But he jump for 28" to 48" was much more impressive to me, maybe as its the last one i did, but each jump made the games seem "better" i know its just in my head but its sweet. I look at prices and think $200 more will triple your size almost.. but as I said in my last post, there are a few "cons" it depends on on how hardcore you are. My 48" is 4K tv and has some limitations, none I care about, but make no mistake I will be upgrading down the road to eliminate them as prices and hardware goes down. For me it was a balance, the small negatives are not outweighed by the Pro's so I am happy. But I must admit, it was one of the hardest things i did after reading reviews, its just to much money to plunk down with all the hate TV's get (some deserved), and not being able to actually test one. Good luck with whatever you do, but the 4k sure makes stuff look sharp, be it a 28" or a 48".
