Just saw the worst accident of my life on I-75

Car hit the edge of the grass incline, launching it into the air, hitting the top of the overpass, flipping upsidedown and sliding on its roof under the inclined concrete overpass where it finally stopped, wedged inbetween the column and the overpass.

Needless to say, as soon as the car went up, we all stopped. There was a sheriff there within 1-2 minutes, within 5-6 minutes there were 4 firetrucks and roughly 20-25 sheriffs. Bayflight was there within 10-15 mins. No idea if anyone in the car survived, it was BAD.

btw, sorry for the poor quality of the pic, i used my camera phone and took the pic a min after we started moving again. didn't want to take a pic while the people were still in the car, just isn't right.

The car is upsidedown in the pic, resting on the far column.

He did put "pics" in his title to lure people in. I'm sure everyone wa expecting something a little more, then saw just trucks and cars.

Was a cell phone found with someone on the other end asking why the driver wasn't responding?

Er... was there any apparant cause of the accident?

Worst accident I've seen was during a sudden traffic stop on a freeway. I guess one of the car didn't pay attention and couldn't stop in time. He tried to avoid hitting the car in front of him by turning into the carpool lane, but ended up hitting and climbed half way up the center divider. It didn't stop there, the car in the carpool lane couldn't stop in time either and hit the first car in the back flipping the it over the center divider and landed halfway on top of another car on the opposite side of the traffic. Amazingly, no one died in that accident. Just broken bones and bruises.

just checked all the local sites, nothing yet other than it showing up on the traffic reports.

I live ~ 2 miles from where it happened, so once we got through, i was basically home in 2-3 minues.
