That was pretty scary, but kinda confusing too. It's clear at the end of the movie what was going on, but I don't understand who the three guys were supposed to be or how anything like that could ever really happen...I mean, people communicating through static? I'm pretty sure all of that stuff is going away as we're switching to digital signals.

It's been on HBO lately....I haven't seen a movie on the big screen since "Walk the Line" and before that it was a year or two before...I can't remember. 😛
 
that's the one that deals with EVP right? I saw bits and pieces while in hotel room on business trip last week. was ok but not very memorable. The end was kinda lame too.

Ya, I only vaguely recall the movie. There were a couple good freaky parts, like the woman in the car. I don't really recall the ending clearly, but remember that it was a let down.

Worth the rental, but not worth buying the DVD.
 
it made me jump quite a few times, but yea.... weak ending. the three demon guys aren't very EVP-like anyway, that destroys the whole EVP idea of the movie. EVP is supposed to be real and there are a lot of followers of that medium. It'd be could to try it 'professionally' with the right equipment, but it'd be expensive. if you ever get the dvd, watch the clips they have about EVP in the extra features. i read up on it online too, kinda freakish and would really love to hear it in person.

The whole "weird goblin things magically appearing and attacking that guy so he falls to his death" was completely bogus.

eck, I wouldn't wanna hear it. After watching that movie I kinda looked at my clock radio all suspicious for a couple nights. 😀
