Just saw 'Taking Lives'

Hadn't read any hype about this movie, so imagine my surprise when a certain 'scene' came around. Didn't know Jolie got paid 'that' much! 🙂

Anyway, it was an okay movie, but something about it just felt cheap (other than the fact it was filmed in Canada.) Also it got kinda predictable towards the end.
 
I saw this movie over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Yeah, it's not one of the all time great movies by any stretch of the imagination, but it's not bad at all -- I enjoyed it.

Yes, Jolie had a semi-nude scene.... She's a freak, but she definitely still looks good 🙂

She was hot in that movie. If I was that guy I would have shot her though, repeatedly.
 
She's done nude scenes before... I think it was Gia. Anyway, the movie looked so much like The Bone Collector in the previews...

Did they ever explain why Costa was cleared as a suspect from the first murder where he was a "witness?" They just said that the DNA test came back negative and left it at that. Shouldn't there have been more to it?
 
yeah me and my gf were wondering about the DNA thing as well, didn't make sense.
i started to hate the movie towards the end though, don't know why, it just felt like crap towards the end.

foxfire is nothing, she was nude in a large chunk of GIA. 🙂

taking lives was incredibly bad. even her hotness couldn't help the movie, and the tiny bit of nudity sucked.
 
i just finished watching it (bump!)

didn't like it at all; their attempts at making the story have a twist just left the movie with loose ends and unexplained parts of the story, it was just retarded.
 
i thought it was pretty good actually.

dialogue: good
acting: very good
plot: very good





I thought that there was only one scene that seemed contrived and that was when Jolie's character was examining someone's bedroom.
