Just saw Star Trek: First Contact...

Question: If the Borg Queen was killed in Star Trek: First Contact, why did she appear again in Star Trek Voyager???

Yeah that bothered me too... I guess you have to assume the stuff on Voyager happened before First Contact happened.

That can't be it neither... In the last episode of Voyager the Borg Queen was killed too... If Voyager happened first then the Borg Queen shouldn't have appeared in First Contact...

Prolly as soon as the queen dies, another is tagged to take her place. I think there are insect colonies that do this, IIRC, and the Borg have been likened to insect colonies because of the hive mind thing they've got going.

Supposedly the addressed it in Voyager. The Bord Queen killed in first contact was of a different species than the one in Voyager. Meaning after the 1st one was detroyed, they replaced her with another.

So the Borg Queen in Voyager wasn't "the beginning" like the one in First Contact???

That's kinda far-fetched since they used the same actress to play the Borg Queen in both situations... If it's a different Queen then you would've think they look different...

Actually, I think it was in the Voyager episode called "Unimatrix 0", that they had a different actress playing the Queen. Personally, I think they brought back Alice Krige for the series finale because she is memorable for the role in First Contact. And, in a series finale capping their 7-season run, you would probably want the actress that most people recognize and associate with being the Borg Queen.

Yeah, some actress named Susanna Thompson played the Queen in a couple of Voyager episodes. With all the makeup and props, she bore a fair resemblance to A.K.'s Queen persona.
