It's a "lions gate" film isn't it? They're movies always have bad acting. Low budget productions. I try to avoid them.

Oh, and while the acting wasn't going to get it any awards... it' wasn't what i watched it for...
 
i just watched it today... i thought it was great! i was hanging at the edge of my seat the whole time. ending was sweet too!
 
I liked the movie, specially the ending. But the acting was way too bad. The blood shed in this movie quite matched that in Hannibal Lecter series!
 
I heard that movie was one of the worst to come out in a long time... my friend said he wanted to leave after the first 15 minutes because it sucked so bad.

I don't get why would the orderly set up the family instead of going to the police. Why would someone be that stupid?
 
I watched this Friday night... not bad, could have been done better but nice effort. Good story, nice twist @ the end.

Then I watched THE DEER HUNTER... wow. DeNiro was awesome in it.

But back to Saw, yeah... kinda reminded me of Se7en but wasn't as good.
 
Just watched Saw tonight. As far as I'm concerned this is closer to the awful 8mm than Se7en in quality. It's not the worst thing I've ever seen, but definitely nothing special.

By the time they had diagnosed him and properly found an anti-poison, he would've probably been dead already.

The ending kind of pissed me off, because the whole time I thought that they need to check out the "dead" dude. Don't ask me how they would do that, but I thought they need to try something.

I hope so! I bought the DVD last week, but haven't watched it yet. I heard it was tense and gross...right up my alley (big horror fan here!) so I'm hoping for a good flick. 🙂
