Just saw Ocean's11

That movie rocked!! Very good story line, great sound, excellent camera work. A must see!!!

How does it compare to the original? I want to see it but I just love the original and I don't want to be depressed like after reading the Ledgend of Bagger Vance and then seeing that suck a$$ movie. The book was great but why change so much?

It's better than the original, very different entirely! A completely different movie, just with the same name. The original did a better job building character motivation and background, this did better everywhere else. The camradarie was waaaaaay different between the two films. That surprised me most. No Sinatra and Lawford joking around in this. Well done though. The camera work was very... er-moving. Little headache there. Don't sit too close to the front.

BTW the first time I saw Oceans 11 was at the Drive In Movie with my Mom and Dad when it first came out.


Not to mention all of the Clint Eastwood spaggetti westerns........

My GF and I just got back from seeing it earlier. The only thing that dumbfounded me was the two henchmen at the end of the movie....

They were the two guys guarding the door while Danny was in the private room waiting for Benedict to arrive.

Were they really working for Benedict? I can only assume so and they were tailing Tess, Danny, and Dusty as they drove off.

didnt brad pitt's character say something about a silver car when they were walking away? they knew they were being tailed. setup for a sequel maybe?

I really liked the movie, but the one gripe I do have is that I couldn't hear some of the dialogue, maybe it was the theater or just me.

here is the deal with the two henchmen:

pitt said that the money was in a silver car behind his own car.

therefore, the two henchmen were really in it with Ocean, not with Benedict.

get it?

it was a great movie...
