It's The Two Towers.

Every review I've seen (save one) is saying its easily the best movie of the year, I bet at least half of them are saying it's the best movie of our lifetime.

Ebert and Roper both seemed reluctant to give it thumbs up, but they both admitted they weren't fans of Tolkien to begin with.

Tell me....is there a feeling of completion with this one? I hate the movies that don't ever end and leave you hanging. I just want to know when I walk in the theater they won't be trying to get me to watch a 4th movie. (I haven't read LOTR so I don't know how it ends)

yay..i'll most likely go see it tomorrow or friday. I can't wait. It'll be super movie bonding time with my brother and uncle (since I can't get anyone else to go see it with me)

i dont want to give anything away but there is a complete feeling of completion (several times over actually)

just so you know i didnt read the books so i cannot compare in that light.

Yes. You have to consider that LOTR was written as one really big book and was just divided into 3 sections, so there really was no ending in the first two because the book wasn't over with..

This is the kind of movie that brings closure to things, but leaves you almost sad becuase its over 🙁

But it definately rocks ass and is as good or better than the first two.

what is this Lord of the Rings you all speak of? Never heard of it!

it's that new playstation 2 game. they're just making these into movie adaptations to exploit the consumer for more money. you know, along the lines of tomb raider and resident evil...

i hear they made a book about it too
