It's a good film, one of those once in a while goodies. I've never played the games, and enjoyed it.

Oh, and I'm so getting a gun or four when I'm older :D

? You must have high expectations with movies these days. What was the last GOOD action movie you saw?

The Matrix doesn't count.

Haven't seen the movies, but I loved the games. I might have to go see the film just for shits and giggles.

The last good one? Live Free or Die Hard. I don't have high expectations at all...i just expect an action movie..to have action. Beowulf had more action. War was a horseshit movie...but had more action than Hitman. Shoot'em Up was a better movie overall than Hitman. I could never sum it up better than one of the reviewers on rottentomatoes (a site i don't care for really): "Hitman has no more imagination than its title, which just as easily could have been The Bourne Idiocy or Mission: Possible and Boring."

The first Bourne was great, what are you talking about?

I haven't seen the rest of the movies you talk of, though :(

I loved all the Bourne movies. The reviewer was saying that hitman could have been called "The Bourne Idiocy" rather than "The Bourne Identity".

I thought it was good, def wasn't the BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME (ATOT seems to have a BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME, and sucks rating system for movies).

You guys are crazy. Hitman was awful. The acting was terrible, the story was terrible and the action (which was pretty good) was not in the movie nearly enough.

They took a regular Hitman script and changed it around a little for the video game. It would've been a much better movie had they just had him go around assassinating people instead of running to figure out who is trying to kill him. Also, the love interest was just silly and cliche. He should've been a cold, loner bastard like he is in the video games. I don't think the people who made the movie played the games prior to writing it.

If you can't follow the story because it just plain old doesn't make sense, then it's not worth seeing. Saw the movie last night, can't say it was fun to see even in the sense of being an action movie. Say like Die Hard was fun, because it was full of ridiculous action and made sense.

I disagree. Hitman was a far superior movie to any of the Bourne movies. I think that I would even rank this movie above Star Wars, and MABYE even Saw II!

I saw it last night. Definitely one of the better video game -> movie transtions than what is out there. Had some cool action scenes and I was entertained for 100 minutes. My fiancee thought it was good as well.

At the least I got a stiff one from the naked chick, oh what nice little boobies.

It seemed to me the movie was written and directed by people who read the wikipedia summation of the games instead of by people who actually played the games. Too bad. And I didn't think Timothy Olyphants voice or acting suited 47's persona, why didn't they use the actor who actually does the voice in the game and the characters look was based upon?

I got a free movie pass I might use to go see it. Went to see Superbad a couple months ago and then the roof started leaking in theater(fortunate cuz that movie was sucking). So we all had to leave but got a free pass since we missed most of our movie.

When I first saw the teaser of Hitman I thought that had to be the dumbest thing I had ever seen. After seeing the movie, my opinion hasn't changed.
