on one hand, i liked the movie a lot, a new concept, previously unexplored and all that.

on the other hand i hate it, bc it makes band geeks look cool.

I thought it was enjoyable. I enjoy the music that Orlando Jones character made them play (EW&F). Old school R&B/Soul >>>>>>>>>>>> Modern Rap/R&B.

Drumline was a good movie for many reasons. The acting and the cinematography were quite good, but the values displayed by the story were the real surprise here.

A great movie for anyone to watch... especially kids. Movies with actual good values are quite rare today.

Also, the DVD is reference quality for clarity and color and a must buy for HT enthusiasts

playing music is fun, don't knock band geeks 😛 i've been playing music for *thinks a lot* 7 years now, looking to pick up violin this summer

[Dave Chapelle] FVCK NICK CANON!!! [/Dave Chapelle]

i enjoyed it. and as previously mentioned, it does belong in the HT'ers collection, for the mentioned attributes, plus for its booming bassline and for clear, high end treble as well.

I think the movie was a joke, trying to make it look like black people actually give a damn about marching band? cmon now.
