Man that movie really wasn't all that great, little plot...the acting was good.....but it was a very loose film....

I like how the 2 charatcers came to terms with each other and themselves at the end. I was expecting more action, but I wasn't disappointed in Changing Lanes.

Well said. It was an "alright" movie. After I saw it, I certainly wasn't urging all of my friends to see it... Yet, I wasn't incredibly disappointed either.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by it. The promotional materials made it look like a dopey action film, but I thought it was intelligently written and well acted. To me its "looseness" (to quote the original poster) was its best quality, in that it gave it an organic, human feel. Definitely not a classic, but IMO a perfectly solid film overall.

That's about how I felt too. I wasn't excited about it but I didn't hate it either.
