Just saw an Integra w/ "wings are for planes" stickers on it.

So I was at In-N-Out burger, which here in Sacramento on Firday and Saturday nights is a place where people with modified cars hang out, some of them set up street races, etc.

Anyway, I was over there talking to some guys w/ mustangs, and the Cops came and told us basically, buy something or leave, so I went inside to buy a hamburger. Parked closer to the door, there was a mildly modified looking Integra w/ a bunch of people looking at the motor, and "Wings are for planes" stickers on the 1/4 windows. The car had no wing on it. It was the coolest integra ever.

BTW, I threw my blower belt... I hate when that happens.

I'd rather throw the blower belt than trash the transmission.....;)

Its not a good idea to have the car parked near those places. Cops can tow your car the next day at your house or business if they get your license plate while you are racing. If you just go there to watch cops also keep track of the license plates of the spectators' cars so they can nail them if the same # show up at a different racing joint.

Why did it come off? Are the pullies not aligned properly, or did it have the incorrect tension?

Doesn't getting someone just for watching go against people's right to assemble or something?

I dunno, but in some cities (Pomona I think) the fine is 1000 bucks for watching illegal street racing.

Yeah I know, I was wondering if you could challenge that sort of law on the "the right of the people peaceably to assemble" basis.
