Relf,
Looks pretty standard to me. That's not bad. What I'm saying is, there have always been littel standard junior magic toolkits that come with some books (teaching the basics, sleight of hand, drops, palming, etc...), some trick decks (svengali decks kick total ass), and a little gimmick trick or two, and maybe a video tape. So, yes, it works, but no better than any other option. I'd say, if you think it looks like a decent gift, GET IT. It's a great little kit. On the other hand, if you have a magic shop in the area, drop in there some time. Usually, they have a resident old man magician or two who will just sidle up to you and start doing tricks in front of you. That way, you are totally blown away, and you say YOU WANT THAT TRICK. --And they have made a sale. They may have what you're looking for there, too. I'd say Jaw Droppers would be a good gift, and certainly, it will "work" if the kid is willing to practice. Go for it! 🙂
