Just saw a nice mid-90's Ford Taurus SHO

<< How did they screw it up?

By taking away the Yamaha V6 & the 5-speed.

That, and they beat the Taurus with a very round ugly stick.

Here here!

It's like they beat it into an ugly oval pod sorta shape.

I had a 95 manual, the last year of them. I loved that car. Electrical fire totalled it. Over a year later I still miss it.

Sure, it had its weak points since it was a Taurus. But pop the hood and I still say to this day that the bundle of snakes intake manifold makes it one of the top 10 coolest looking engines of all time.

'95 Taurus GL here, which as stated had the last look to it before Ford decided to take its shape and mold it after a worn soapbar instead. A little rattly, fit and finish isn't quite perfect, but I love it. And it certainly hauls ass when needed to.
