Thanks for the info, guys. :)

I think AT was probably the wrong place to ask this question. My life has long since strayed from the world of computers, math, etc. I'm no engineer, haha! I'm a pianist, completing my bachelor's in piano performance. I'm moving on to pursue my master's in the same, hopefully with some TA/AI type position to go along with it.

In fact, only one school of the 4 I'm applying to even wanted the GRE...most conservatories and music schools don't even ask for it. Expensive test for that purpose, but I feel confident about my chances at getting money at this one school. At any rate, I did pretty well given that I haven't done any math in years and and I only took one day (yesterday) to brush up and study. I was just just kinda curious how I stood in the scheme of things.

All best,

J

What schools are you looking at going to? I'll graduate next December with a music ed. degree and will be then going on for a low brass performance masters degree.

Yeah, I got a 1230 and got into UCLA, but not many other places. My math sucks, I did better on the verbal than I did math (600 to 630)

I'm currently at Indiana University Jacobs School. So I'm applying here, as well as:

San Francisco Conservatory
Temple University/Boyer College
Univ. of Denver/Lamont School

Denver is the one who wanted the GRE...
