The groom's sister is my GF's best friend. Well, it was interesting to say the least. My GF and I were amongst handful of white folks there.
The reception was held in a Chinese restaurant, reminiscent of a Jackie Chan movie. I honestly expected Chris Tucker to burst onto stage, interrupt the MC by grabbing the mic...
"How y'all doin'? Congratulations, y'all look beautiful. Now, we're looking for a Mr. Chin. Is there a Mr. Chin in da house? Mr. Chin? There you are, Mr. Chin! How y'all doin'? You must be proud. She's very beautiful. Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for Mr. Chin!"
Anyway, there was a twelve course meal, open bar, and lots of karaoke!
I didn't bring my camera, and I wish I had as the bride/groom's table had a plaque above them that displayed their names. It read:
"Bang Jessica"
I REALLY regret not bringing the camera.
Here's a pic of my GF and her new do, taken just before we left.
