Just replaced CPU, now I can't install windows.

I have two partitions. I recently replaced a CPU because of video trouble and I have no problem booting to the partition with windows already installed, but when I boot from the XP CD and try to install it, I can get past the F8 sign my soul over to microsoft screen. I get a black screen (that looks just like the blue screen of death but black) and it tells me to reboot.

BIOS flash!

Make sure u plugged in HSF!

Did you re-apply thermal compound!

Make sure HSF is on right!

Yep, one thing you can do if you already flashed the BIOS is to pull out the battery on the Mobo for about 2 mins, or use the reset jumper Pins.
