Just reminiscing: Anyone ever play this hide-n-go seek game?

It's really fun, we used to play this game during Halloween back in high school. The game doesn't have to be played during Halloween. You can play it any time as long as you have a big house, and partying with some girls (don't get started everyone)

WHAT YOU DO: It's like Hide-n-go-seek except one person hides and the rest are seekers! The seeker stays in one room in the house while the hiding person goes hide somewhere in the house. Then everyone splits up and goes looks for that person. (It's ok if you go hunt in groups, but seems more competitive if you're separated).

WHEN YOU FIND that person: you hide along with them in that same spot! Gets pretty hilarious when there's like 10 of you in that one same closet all trying to keep from lauging and being heard! The last person to find the group is the LOSER but gets to hide in the next round (as far as a I can remember).


Yes this game is pretty much for kids, but it's fun to play during those dark scary nights. I remember bringing my glow-in-the-dark jason mask and put it on when I find the group, and everyone would scream! And our hiding spot would be ruined. Ahhh, the good-ol days.

The last time I played that, I was 16 and crammed into a closet with a dozen other people - one of which needed to take a shower BADLY. Everyone in the closet was coughing and hacking and getting hotter and hotter and more and more sweaty. :disgust:

I've never played it since.

Oh sardines! That's what it was called. Haha, so it wasn't a game we just made up to get in a dark tight place with some girls

I took a trip to London back in high school with 13 or 14 other students. We stayed in some motel-ish hotel (that really seemed like a russian brothel or something... eh) and played that there one of the nights. Was pretty funny, first time I ever heard of sardines. The place was really empty though, so it was like we had all the floors to ourselves - but this wasn't set up like a normal hotel, it was like 3 or 4 buildings of apartments that was all hacked together to make it look like a hotel. The place had winding stairways, doors that led to dead ends, and some really weird chit, made for a fun game. No wonder the place was cheap though .

We did this a couple times at my fraternity house when there was a power failure or something. The difference is that the hider would hide with like 3 cases of beer, so when you found him you drank
