Just reinstalled Windows, now most videos won't play in Winamp

I just reinstalled Windows XP this afternoon. I installed the most recent versions of XP Codec Pack and Winamp. Now, the vast majority of my videos won't play in Winamp, and those that do often have sound problems (or no picture but ok sound) that didn't happen before. Windows Media Player seems to play everything fine. This makes no sense to me since Winamp was playing video just fine before I reinstalled. What should I do?

You most likely don't have the other codecs you need. I can't get to the site while I'm at work, but I think it's just www.codec.com or something. Try that out, and see if it helps.

Uninstall WinAmp, and reinstall. Maybe it was a error while installing... It's possible, and it won't hurt anything.

Damn. Okay. Sorry, but I have no idea. I refuse to use WinAmp, so I don't know what settings are in there and all. I was hoping it would have been the codecs though, as it is easily fixable then.

GAHHH!!!11one

I'm a complete idiot. I had installed the "lite" version instead of standard because I was wary of them bundling spyware/crap/free AOL trials with the full version. Turns out that you need the full version for video playback support.
