no you dont need 7.1s
just get a good set of 2.1s or 4.1s

You don't NEED 7.1 speakers...just like you don't NEED 3.5ghz to run Word....you don't NEED 400BHP for the morning commute...

That's a steal on the Audigy 2 ZS for 70 whatever.... I don't know its street value now, but I know mine was 100

I wouldn't bother with the Inspire speakers.
I'd take the Gigaworks though.
