Just reformatted, cant see other computers in work group

I just reformatted my computer and reinstalled xp home.
I cant see anyone in my WORKGROUP, but i can find the computer if i search for them. I have file and printer sharing enabled, and netbuei too.
I really need to get this so i can add a network printer.

The error i get when trying to view workgroup computers is:

Workgroup is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Ther server is not configured for transactions.

network neighborhood is crap.

if \\servername\ gives you errors, then you need to fix a permissions issue, not a networking issue.
