Alright, this is how the internet setup goes:
DSL modem to Netgear router
4 ethernet cords come from the netgear router, one to my xbox, one to my htpc, one to my gaming pc, and one that goes to the buffalo router upstairs
So then netgear router goes to buffalo router via a 100' ethernet(acting as a bridge, gives off wireless to tenants upstairs)
Wireless does have a password, but i dont have anything wireless down here. I'm having problems connecting the gaming pc to the internet. I have tried directly connecting it to the modem, still no luck. The xbox and htpc work fine. I don't have any clue whats wrong, i just reformatted, and i get "aquiring network address" for about 2 minutes, then "little or no connectivity"
please help, i can post any screenshots that you need. I do have windows firewall turned off everywhere. I did the ipconfig/all on my htpc (the pc im using to type this) and entered all this into the "manual settings" for the internet configuration on the gaming pc, still no luck. any ideas?
