Just received my VOTER Registration in the mail

got it yesterday, sent it out oct 18th (last day to register in CA) although i did try 4 days before that

postmarked nov 1st (from them), so even in a best case scenario i would have had 3 hrs to vote (our mailman shows up at 4)

anybody else have similiar experiences, and is your last name a minority?

damn that sucks. but I woulda thought since you are active on P&N that you woulda registered a lot earlier :)

You do not need your CA voter registration precinct card to vote.
I am pretty sure you do not even have to present a valid ID to vote, unless you have never voted in your county before.

I think i've been disenfranchised...
as previously stated, you could have voted anyway.

but that does stink, though i doubt that you didn't get your registration card in ca just because you've got the last name of a colored person.
