Yes, it's a toy. Yes, it's for me. Yes I'm an almost 30 year old kid.

It started with the Series of Tanks, then I found out they've just started offering 'Military Planes'. I absolutely LOVED the Tanks (the detail and quality is amazing!) so I signed-up for the Planes.

Well, I got Plane number 1 (of 6) the 'F4-U Corsair' today. I was BLOWN AWAY!
If you're an admirer of fine craftsmanship and detail, then you HAVE TO call them up and have them send you a free catalog (they're lax about getting new products on the web, and I'm not even sure if you'll see it in the catalog yet, but the Tanks I spoke about before ARE there)

I played with my matchbox cars as a kid more than any other toy.

Cool! Thanks. Maybe will start collecting again.

I should mention these 'collectible' ones are QUITE bigger than the regular matchbox cars!

Especially the Planes, each plane's wingspan is approx the size of a coffee saucer plate.

I think the 'Matchbox Collector's' Series are really meant for people who collect. Considering each plain cost $33.90 (shipping included).

hmmmm... sounds like a possible Christmas gift for my 31 year old kid...

Although right now he is pretty obsessed with the big red truck he just bought... it does look like a giant Matchbox, too.

Never stop playing with toys! It is good for you. :)
