I purchased a Dell lcd 2005 yesterday and it arrived today.
The only problem is they sent a refurbished model rev A00.
Do I gain anything with the newer revision, should I send it back?
Thanks
Matthew

well, you should first see how it works- if it works great then no need to send it back however if tere are dead pixels or annoying lighting problems i guess you can.

I just set it up. Looks ok, the bottom frame has a light scratch all the way accross the bottom right above the dell logo and below the screen. It looks like it is a pressure/light scrape from the foam packaging. I will test the monitor now.
On the back of the monitor it has a sticker placed over the old revision model number that says: REVAO1

I'd probably give them hell just because they gave me a refurb while selling me a "new" one...try to get some kinda coupon or something, lol.
