This time the IP is from an AOL account. I went to their site and the only feedback link I found seemed like the kind that they will answer in a month from now.

So what else can I do?

PS.
Please don't try explaining how it could be an spoofed IP. I know it can. But I find pretty hard for someone to spoof the other two AOL mail servers that were in the path. So AOL could still do something to find the originator or at least to stop the spread.

chiwawa626 no need to start calling me names. Besides I have a dsl line with a small isp.

Bleep it was an I-Worm.Magistr disguised as an MSNSIGN.EXE attachment.

This is the second time I receive the same worm. The first was from a friend that I ended up helping clean his system. The poor guy had over 800 files infected. But this seems to have come from a spammer's list.

I wish there was a place where we could log all the complaints. And a law that forced ISPs to investigate after a certain number of complaints.

Just like the kid that was Dossing grc.com and Steve contacted the ISP,the only thing they care about is that you pay the bill.I will never pay money to a ISP ho.

virus scan? virus shield?

i never ever open any attachments unless it was first scanned with an anti-virus software. you could always forward emails w/ files to a free hotmail account, and then attempt to open it from your hotmail. i believe all incoming files are automatically scanned by hotmail, using McAfee virus scan.
