Just received a phone call from someone

Some guy calls my cell phone... i didn't have good reception... and he had a thick thick indian accent. he said "I'm calling from 'the internet xxxxxx' (couldn't make that out) is your address still MYADDRESS?"

i said to him "the internet what?" 4-5 times and he hung up.

who/why the heck would they call about?

I had a guy call me once trying to solicit some web service. He got my contact info from my domain's whois. I promptly hungup.

Most likely - and if you confirm your address you will probably get a solicitation that looks like a bill. But they just want you to transfer your domain registration to them.

i just kept asking who they were and what they wanted

and eventually asked them for a number i can contact them and i googled that # and got this.

can they actually do anything from this point"?
