I have a celery 566 o/c to 875 Mhz at 1.85V.

I use Golden orb to cool this baby. Yesterday I took the golden orb off to test it in my P3 setup, needless to say the thick layer of thermal coating is wearing off really fast. By the time I put it back on the celery, it had minimal coating on the Heatsink & CPU.

I booted up my computer and it froze after 2 hours. I rebooted it again and it froze again in 1 hour. I then reapplied a good amount of thermal coating and the setup is rock stable now, cracking RC5 24 hours a day.

Just to let you guys know that thermal compound is very important, if you haven't already realized it :)

That is very, very wierd. You want as little compound as possible...

I know.. I did not apply a whole lot of it, but the thermal compound I had on the Golden orb was wearing off to a point that it almost has none on the CPU. Now, I am not sure what is causing that crashes. My computer has always been super stable, it has been that way for at least 1/2 year. After I've reapplied the thermal compound to the orb, my computer's stability is revived.

That could be the problem, most likely :)
