Just ran pcmark 2k2 and scored 400 HDD points.HELP

OK way to low of a score. could this be caused b/c i am running a few other programs?

WD 120gb non se
Maxto 80gb non se

DMA mode 2 running, non raid.

what other info? rig is in sig, (ultimate)

and why are your drives on DMA Mode 2?

I have 2 x maxtors on primary .. DMA MODE 5

Plextor Master DMA 2
WD Slave DMA 5

you might need a new cable.

Mode 2 is ATA-33 you need to be at mode 4 or 5 should about double the score.

I only score 989 in PCMark 2002.

I have a 80GB WDSE drive. It's set at Ultra DMA mode. (5) What gives here?

Could it be that I have a LiteON DVD Rom on the same IDE channel? It's set at Ultra DMA as well.
