You quit with no job lined up?

Not such a good move...

But I know how it feels to want to quit, it's a running debate for me. Every day, the argument runs...

But you could walk out. You could get up right now, walk out, and never come back. You'd like that.

Sadly, I keep coming back.

Yeah instead of quitting, I ended up negotiating for a day off every week with no pay cut! So now I have a 3 day weekend! More power to ME!!! w00t!

I was until I convinced them otherwise. So they ended up suspending me, whatever. So now it was my turn to screw them on the night they needed me most. Just like they screwed me :)

what was your job?

Catering weddings, etc.

That's what I did... I went into work.... started working, everything started getting on my nerves... all the same things happen that just make me want to crack. So I took the manager I hate the most, pulled her aside and gave her the good word, and left.....boyyyyy did she have fire in her eyes. hahaha.... good stuff. She looked like the devil.

Now onto some tech jobs i hope! :)

damn you people. screw the 9-5 daily grind. :) hehehe

i cant' stand that shaz no more. Did it for 3 yrs workign for a startup company as a top manager... working 70-80 hour weeks. even after it calmed down it was still 50-60 hours/wk. I'm through with that. :) I work for me. No one's gonna be the boss of me. :p Wish it was that easy for others to do the same.

Good luck on finding another job though.

I think I'm focked in the head...

It has never bothered me to be an employee. I don't mind taking orders... in fact I would dare say I enjoy it. I like being given a task and completing it. Having worked for entrepeneur's I can honestly say I can't think of any startup businesss I'd want to and enjoy owning. I'd rather just work for a company... get paid for a job well done and not have to worry about keeping my business going....

maybe that's just me...

Yeah, I work for Sam's Club and some days you just want to walk out, then again, you can't because I have to support myself. I am 19 but go a car insurance, luckily no car payments, and I like lots of technology, which is expensive. The latter part is my choice, but without work, life would be boring.
