I'm running a 1.4 Tbird on a Soyo Dragon (KT266). Are there any critical updates such as the Via 4 in 1s that I need to get to maximize performance? I hear things about an "AGP GART" driver. I just don't want to miss out on performance just because i haven't been up to date on things.
 
Just install the latest Via 4in1 drivers.
The AGP Gart drivers are included with it.

How do you like the Soyo Dragon board?
 
So far it's a great board. The only con is probably the apparent failure of USB at high FSBs; I haven't tried so I can't confirm it. It's also probably a BIOS issue.

Otherwise, there are many many pros. For example, onboard ethernet is pretty fast. Onboard 6.1 channel sound! A lot of features. Soyo definitely takes care of you. I'm very satisfied.
