It's been years since my family has had to put a couple pets down and I still think about them a lot.

One of my friends had to put down their *eighteen* year old cat (older than my friend) last week. It was a chill cat too, always letting you pick it up, enjoying a warm lap in front of the TV. Despite being deaf, it had street smarts (after eighteen years, as a cat, they become sages). Cat died of kidney failure, at a ripe old age after a full life.

Another of my friends had to put down two dogs within six weeks, both of which were over ten years old, both from cancer. It's always a bummer, even when you know it's coming.

To the pets, who always love us, no matter what. :beer:

I'm sorry to hear that man. I had a cat pass away a few months ago that had been with me since I was 4. You don't really realize how important they are to you until they are gone.

Wow..... Wow.... that was THE weirdest thing ever. That cat looks EXACTLY like mine, her name is Felicia and we call her Flea. Not only that but you have the same carpeting and it looked like my cat sitting at our patio door in that first picture. Really creepy.

But sorry man, that sucks having to put a animal down.

You guys rock, I know it's just a cat, but you all seem to be able to connect and I appreciate that, I stayed up like 30 hours through sunday morning, I slept all sunday and in to this morning I woke up at 5...watched house, and started thinking about him again I'm going to miss the little buzzard. Anyways I just can't thank you all for the support, it means a lot, I know it's just a message board, but ya'll are like a second home.
